Purpose of Project

Perfection of the main street-road network of the city of L'viv, that provides the optimum communication of elements of the town-planning system to the requirements of carrying capacity and effective organization of motion of all types of street transport and pedestrians on the basis of the use of the home intellectual transportation system.

Conception of the Project

In the problem of transportation in L'viv it is necessary to include experiences of management throughout the world for transportations streams. Introduction of western standards (ITS)* with the use of satellite supervision and analysis of information is vital.
For a basis it is needed to create ITS on the basis of the home automated systems of road traffic control with the use of imitation design for the decisions of concrete road situations. Development of the system of automated road traffic control, together with development of complex chart organization of transportation in L'viv will ensure an increase in efficiency in transportation.
Automation of road traffic control on a computer requires effective mathematical models of transportation streams able to adequately forecast the state of the road networks class of models of transportation streams a cellular automaton.
Decision simulation models:
design of existent and forecast transportation streams;
inclusion in the model of all network roads and network lines of public transportation, development of complex transportation charts;
analysis and estimation of rules and intensity of motion;
hypothetical situations
planning of transportation infrastructures of public transportation;
creation of platforms for the transportation information systems;
prognostication of transportation complications;
optimization of parking systems
choice of optimum organization of motion on crossing and estimation of carrying capacity for every variant of motion;
analysis of carrying capacity and motion in the area of stops taking into account priority of public transportation;
optimization of alarm devices;
comparison of different variants of points of crossing (circular motion, traffic regulation straight, sending alarm devices and upshots);
creation of new rules of traffic control of vehicles transportation on motorways and streets.
