The optimisation of periodic maintanence of engines according to their toxic properties
The characteristic features of the lift – load truck, which determines its technical level, is its influence on the environment, i. e. air pollution, coursed by the emissions from the operation of vehicles.
A set of specifications has been worked out which regulate the maintenance service of the vehicles. This service is provided for the reliability and safety of transportation, but it often does not fit the ecological standards of exploitation. The basic control of fuel supply system, ignition, exhaustion have been broken during exploitation, and the amount of harmful substances of the emissions from the operation of vehicles is increased.
The aim of the project is the regulation and determination of the inspection intervals and maintenance of engines according to their ecological safety level and the improvement of energy – use characteristics of vehicles.
Carrying out of ecological monitoring of the condition of cars in Lviv region and the city.
Determination of the influence of chemical and combined fuels on the toxic properties of emissions from the operation of vehicles.
Carrying out of road investigations of the influence of car run on the toxic properties of emissions from the operation of vehicles.
Carrying out of laboratory investigations of the influence of car run and exploitational regulations of car engine on the toxic properties of emissions.
The creation of the device of express – control of the toxic properties of the emissions from the operation of vehicles.
The creation of the diagnostic stand and mathematic ensuring for it with the aim of diagnosing of the state of engine systems by their safe ecologic values.
The experiment have been carried out by the Department of Exploitation and Repairing of Automobile Engineering.
The results of the experiments were taken as the basis of research work for the degree of the Candidate of Technical Sciences.
